Boogazine idea's

So I really need to start thinking of idea's for my Boogazine but at the moment I'm just drawing a blank so i thought I would list some of my interests and hobbies and hopefully get some idea's or inspiration!!
There is 1 idea for my Boogazine that I have thought of and that is writing about Landscape Architecture because I have always love landscape and garden design and there is so much to talk about on the subject.
My older sister is currently 7 months pregnant and we are at the moment decorating the baby's room, this has inspired me to look into children's bedroom designs. I absolutely love the bright colours and cute cartoon characters used in the design for modern children's bedroom's, also whilst researching there were so many rooms which had 'secret doors' that lead to amazing play rooms. I would definitely like to look into this more and maybe research into children's behaviour changes within different room environments.

Some of my other interests are:
Gardening, architecture, interior design, nature, animals, museums, modern technology, food, historical buildings, shoes, everything about Great Britain, television, jewellery, knitting.

Some of the main objects/subjects I would be interested in writing about would be:
Mobile phones, new/upcoming technology, children's behaviour, landscape architecture, historical buildings, British Monarchy, cooking, jewellery, gardening, sculpting, modern art

I will keep adding to these lists if/when I think of new idea's.

Pinterest

Over the past year I have been signed up with Pinterest, which is a website where you can add and share images which you find on the internet or have uploaded and you think are interesting. Images can be anything from something you find funny, architecture you love, recipes you'd like to try, places you'd like to visit or crafts you'd like to do!

I go on Pinterest regularly and I have created a huge scrapbook of things I love!

Although I will be adding some images from there onto my blog, I'll only be adding the ones which I feel are relevant to my projects, so feel free to check it out to see the full extent of my interests and inspirations.

Boogazine Brief

In Semester 1 you will be required to produce a document called the “Boogazine”, a piece of research and critical enquiry in the form of a magazine. Significant emphasis should be given to visual material in the work.

You are required to propose an object that you wish to research and to take a particular critical position about that object. ‘Object’ in this context is something that exists, or has existed in historical time. It could be anything as long as it:

a.     connects directly to interior design/architecture and
b.    you can research it in depth in order to develop and sustain a line of critical enquiry.

It should be also be something that you personally find interesting. It can be a building or interior, but it could also be for example, a film, design movement, item of furniture, architectural style , designer, book etc.. Your Boogazine should aim to find something new to say about the object.

Boogazine options will need to be approved by teaching staff at the start of next year.

At the start of the year (Week 2 or 3), you will need to give a short Powerpoint presentation of your favoured object of study. Please also present two back-up options, in case the favourite is deemed unsuitable. In preparation for this you are required to find three suitable options over the summer break and to begin research into them. Visual research should form part of your enquiry at this stage.
